if you are trying to fade, pumpkins uncarved on the porch are more realistic and less messy
not trying to fade anymore... fiancee moved in with me in September...so her car is here all the time especially overnight... and the only pumpkin carved so far is mine...and I kind of messed it up... so I am going to do another....what fun I am having....
I dont let the cult rule my life anymore... I will write more about what happened during the phone call and toni's reaction to it later... I have decided that since I havent heard it first hand from an elder or the ever illusive "someone said" I am going to act as if it is the first time I ever heard it if some nosy a$$ elder ever does show their face on my doorstep. Honestly, I know my old congo (where the dusty card is filed) has no idea of my whereabouts, nor do they care. I am sure some local yokel could call them up and they would say: "Brother who?" And if they do....so what.
Anyway... I enjoyed carving the pumpkin and the 8YO liked it, despite the fact that I reversed the template. I roasted the pumpkin seeds afterwards... and the mail carrier liked the talking hanging pirate in my windowsill (also in full view of the street...not as obvious, but still in view).
I will go trick or treating with the family after I get off work Friday night and go to the halloween parade after work saturday night....
