I thought the epicenter was in El Porto, but close enough!
Technically El Porto is included within the city boundaries of Manhattan Beach
But you seem to know the area quite well....tell me more....

Only a former SoCal resident can appreciate Judge Dredds suggestion of Compton. Rent the Sean Penn movie, Colors, or Denzel washington in "Training Day" to get the flavor of the area.

The number one best place to visit in the US is Peoria, Illinois.
A close second would be Gaffney, South Carolina.

Kurt...I was literally just thinking about Peoria, Illinois. Howwwww weird. On another thread somebody was asking if there's any people near Milwaukee & I mentioned I used to visit family in New Berlin, WI. ...and then we'd head down to a city near peoria/Joliet to visit our other family (but I didn't mention that part because I figured nobody'd ever heard of it).
Hawaii is certainly beautiful, if anybody's offering to pay, I'll go again!
