um well now.... I've indulged before - heavily - sometimes with disasterous results.
I tend to take it easy now - but I still do get a bit bluzzed now and again - like 4 glasses of wine tipsey.

I started drinking when I 12 years old, first drink was stout and still like it but not my first choice.
Never been a really a heavy drinker, normally just social, I could count on 2 hands the number of times I have what could termed as being drunk.

I remember one particular time in my teenage years. We were camping, and had some drinks at the local pub (in my case maybe one more than I should have ) then we returned to the camp fire (a big one, we were many camping then, non-JWs). Man, don't ever do that. Drinking too much then warming out rapidly is a no-no. I don't remember absolutely anything after the point we got back to the camp fire. They say I still sat there for a while, after that I got sick, and they carried me away to the tent. I woke up next day afternoon, not remembering any of it, with a ginormous hangover. I do remember having difficulty coherently asking for the last glass of drink at the pub, so I should have seen it coming. But it was an experience I had to live through and learn. Good thing I learned it without making any serious damage to myself or others.
