Why? lets see, ontop of all the stuff on here, there is the personal stuff.
like today when i have had to take legal action against my ex. Like today her with-holding the children from seeing me. Like all the untruths, deceptions and changing standards.
i was going to accuse her of being a discrace to her religion BUT I HAVE DECIDED SHE IS A CREDIT TO THEM. THEY ARE A MALICIOUS ORGANIZATION FROM THE TOP DOWN. THEY HAVE TRAINED HER WELL. EVIL IS AS EVIL DOES.
Sorry to hear it has gone sour. They can get bloody nasty when they think you're going to let the devil get their kids.
Aussie, the elders and the KH can sure rally around a sister who is wanting to get rid of an apostate husband. My ex loved all the attention- of course it all evaporated after the divorce was final. She became just another needy JW and we all know how JW's fell about doling out charity. She then began to see the true face of the KH and it was about 5 or six years later that she quit going. They never really tried to get her to come back, either.
Nasty is an understatement! I just never ever ever thought she could turn into the unspeakable monster she had become. I mean, she is really deluded by her own self righteousness. And i find that dangerous as all hell because people like that cannot be reasoned with. My only option is to play hard and that's not the type of person i am.
It really saddens me to realize that she can have a whole organization that is deluded as her for support. I once thought staying away from the JW because of her was me being stumbled somehow. Now i see clearly, she is a reflection of the religions ideals and has fully absorbed their attitudes and methods.
so, reluctantly, It's GAME ON BITCH!

The biggest disapointment in my life!!! But glad - at 34 - I'm seeing it for what it is. Starting to get over the anger and learing to think clear and freely!

The reality of the Watchtower literature is that its all coercive manipulative fiction, that was designed to sell.
And it did
I am seriouly disapointed in the Watchtower society
You won't be the first and you won't be the last.
Our writings are true, they are backed up by the bible. Rather than, the bible is true, backed up by our writings.
Important point. That said, the more you read the bible the more you find that their teachings are actually directly refuted in the bible they claim that backs them up!
