Do You Know This Person?
Is positive the majority of the time.
Always tries to see the best in people and circumstances.
On your worst days, somehow makes you feel glad to be here, alive and kicking.
Doesn't take any wooden nickels, but is willing to yield when necessary.
If you know a person like this, you are one blessed individual.

I Am So Happy for Him
My dear friend is beginning to realize the fruits of his labors.
He counsels, cajoles, consoles, embraces people from all walks of life.
His words are like the legendary balm from Gilead, soothing and healing.
The majority pass over them as if they are mere fluff - to be admired and then forgotten.
Yet, this hardy soul persisted, knowing that somewhere someone would pause and listen.
He was right!!!
Hallelujah!

All Them Leaves Must Fall
When I used to sing the words of this Chad & Jeremy song, I thought for sure in one stanza they were singing all them leaves must fall instead of autumn leaves must fall.
It is entitled A Summer Song, and I just love it.
For some reason, this beautiful, enchanting piece refuses to leave my mind this morning.
Thanks for listening.

Trees swayin' in the summer breeze
Showin' off their silver leaves
As we walked by
Soft kisses on a summer's day
Laughing all our cares away
Just you and I
Sweet sleepy warmth of summer nights
Gazing at the distant lights
In the starry sky
They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall
But don't you know that it hurts me so
To say goodbye to you
Wish you didn't have to go
No no no no
And when the rain
Beats against my window pane
I'll think of summer days again
And dream of you
They say that all good things must end some dayAutumn leaves must fallBut don't you know that it hurts me so
To say goodbye to you
Wish you didn't have to go
No no no no
And when the rain
Beats against my window pane
I'll think of summer days again
And dream of you
And dream of you
The mullioned panes of the decrepit, enclosed front porch are losing their putty.
Old and brittle, the once binding and malleable compound falls out in hardened chunks, exposing random, exposed glazing points. Andy Vincent runs his finger along a split vertical of the window frame and rudely encounters one of the tiny metal points, its endeavoring valiantly to maintain the loosening hold of the dirty pane by offering defensive resistance to the intruder's sliding strand of flesh ...
Alrighty, then!
Come on up with it, CoCo.

Good morning, Syl!
Going back to Hernandez Terrace and reliving the events and the emotions ...
Have a good day.

An unseen hand wipes away long-embedded grime from the pane through which an asthmatic Andy peers, numerous streaks notwithstanding. Sufficiently clear that the boy spies a neighborhood child sauntering about, taking his time, gazing nonchalantly at the pale yellow blossoms of sour grass run amok in pavement cracks and spilling, too, over old concrete retaining walls.
Buster Tennant is a dreamer - he does no one any harm ...
He is a slacker and, at 10 years old, that is an intolerable character flaw, Andy reflects, now glaring through a steadily darkening pane....

exposed glazing points.
I knew my CoCo would fix it.
