It was a real school, Watson!
The teachers took no foolishness off anyone; a hickory switch in the corner served as a reminder as to who was in charge!
I miss those days.

...this thread's simply about Hank Williams
I like his grandson, Hank III
CoCo, "different" as in not the same as others, in many cases more feeling or soul. Good different but still "different".
Sylvia..

It`s got to be worth a few bucks for sure!

........................ ...OUTLAW
Hank Williams car story (just to get the uncarlike taste of this thread out of my keyboard a little) -
Did you know that the famous blue Cadillac he died in was not purchased new, and was not paid for with cash?
Peter Egan, a big Hank Williams fan, wrote a column in Road & Track some time back about this car. Hank paid about $2,800 for it to IIRC an ex-serviceman, and had a recorded bank loan. Hank Williams Jr., later bought it back and put it on loan to the museum.

OUTLAW...if you like old Hank, you'll like Hank III's first two albums, Risin Outlaw and Lovesick, Broke and Driftin'
I like his more hellbilly/cowpunk sound on his next two albums, Straight to Hell and Damn Right, Rebel Proud.
If you like straight up thrash punk he has a punk band called Assjack. They are an acquired taste for us old honky tonkers...
UC..
Thanks!..
