Will You Get A Flu Shot?

I quit!
I never got one till about four years ago when I started getting them. I got one this year in early October. A few weeks later I was on vacation and contracted the H1N1, I think while I was in San Francisco. I was so sick I hardly left my hotel room in Reno for three days. My wife got it a few days later so I don't think we need to bother getting an H1N1 shot when they become available.

I just today got word from the doctor that my lungs are now functioning again, I got a severe viral infection in my lungs and it turned into acute asthma. I've been on mass amounts of steroids and have no immune system left at this moment. So yes, yesterday I got my flu shot. I can't risk getting that flu it would kill me right now.
If you aren't in a high risk group, don't get it. It's that simple. For me, I really had no choice.

The only "flu shot" I need is a daily dose of vitamin C of 2,000 mg twice a day, along with other vitamin and antioxidant supplements. No side effects--that is, unless you count getting fewer or no colds as a side effect.

I'm not a huge fan of mega vitamins. Too much of anything is not good.

I got the regular flu shot. I have an auto-immune disease and take medication that makes me even more vulnerable. But not the H1N1 vaccine...not available even to me yet, too old.
