Ladies, How important is it for you to have a VERY clean home? (page 2)

I'm one of those "My House Was Clean Yesterday, You Should Have Seen It" kind of people. Although if we're having people over for a special dinner or something then I'll clean like my life depended on it.

I like it clean. Very clean. But, since I am the one doing it (today, again), I have gotten lax. I don't wipe the trim down every week like I used to and I don't Swiffer every few days. I do have a very clean kitchen sink. We never have dishes waiting to be washed or in the sink. Ever. I hand wash them or put them immediately in the dish washer. I clean the toilets at least every other day.

My husband wouldn't notice if mold were growing on the mattress.

I guess I could be a slob. But if I were, I couldn't sleep. I'd obsess about what I needed to do.

Clean ......yes via regular chore schedule handed down from my great grandma who was mother to 13.

I can't stand clutter, so try and keep things picked up thru out the day.

The heavy type of cleaning, eh... I'll get to it when I feel like it.

Depends... do I have a man to keep the house clean for me? Then it's very important. If I have to do it myself it might suffer a bit. ;)

I'm not a cleaning fantatic but we do regular house cleaning. My husband is retired and all he wants to do is wants to do is watch TV all the time and expects me to sit and watch it too. It really kills our cleaning that is for sure. I have to admit our house was cleaner when he was working and at home all the time. I know many women with retired husband deal with the same thing. Clean house is important but it takes cooperation.
