I'm happy for you...Me, my husband and our kids are celebrating for the first time today. And his JW family that lives in the same apt complex we do are having a "family dinner" but we werent invited because we havent been going to the meetings (we all belong to the same cong). Funny it's ok to have a family dinner on Thanksgiving but you are not really celebrating it.

Even when I was an active witness I never really understood what was so wrong with Thanksgiving......I used to hate to say "We give thanks everyday and don't need one special day to do that." Duh, so stupid. Mainly what bothers me about Thanksgiving today is what was done to the Native Americans, as for the pagan crap don't see it a bit.
