I stopped at a JW yard sale after I was out around 1990, I knew the family and I asked the the sister why she had all these disco records for sale- didn't she read how bad they were in the WT publications? They were sure embarrassed.

Oh yeah.... if you ever want to mess with a JW, just go visit them at their house. As you're leaving tell them that you hid a small voo-doo charm that had been used by a real witch doctor to put spells on people.
JWs will tear their house apart looking for something that isn't even there.

Too Opinionated
This will be sad news for all the JW's in central Wisconsin. They use field service time to check out the rummage sales constantly. One time our car group stopped at one, and I bought a huge box of books. An elder carried the whole box into my house for me since I was pregnant at the time. He and his wife always stopped at garage sales. Many of the sisters call each other from garage sales (if it is a particularly good one) so they can come over, too.

The dubs still have their stalls, we did it once to raise funds towards the new K H..I don't think the Brit Dubs are quite so fearful of .........
