I hate being on boats, I feel slightly better if I can see land - but not much.

I have suspicions that in a previous life I may have been a passenger on the Titanic!

I love to travel on boats, I love the sea, I love to swim and plunge, I love fish-watching, I love to walk on the seaside, I love to look at the sea in summer and in winter.

I miss the sea, since I leave far from it. That's a pity!!!!

We are going under quickly ... The encircling waters terrify me. I have always revered the sea. It has fascinated me from afar And from close up and now, Altogether personal, as I say Good bye to love and life and air.

I respect the sea. I live near the coast and cannot imagine moving away. However, I do not swim in the ocean on the northern Californa coast - it is way too dangerous. Just the other day someone went in to rescue her dog. She drowned and the dog walked out of the waves eventually. Happens more frequently than it should. Sad.

I like swimming pools...

The ocean scares me. It has too many hurtful creatures in it. One time we went to Florida and a shark was swimming where we were just at in the water. I refused to ever go in again after that. He was way to close to shore. ...

I love the ocean to look at and would travel great lengths to see it but get in it or sail on it..no way.

Let's just say I have a great respect for it.

Edited to add: My JW hubby used to worship the ocean. Loved to be in it. He even told me several times that he wanted to be cremated and his ashes thrown in the ocean...then when he actually did die he told me he wanted his ashes scattered at the local kingdom Hall...like I would do that..
