Whisky - which is best?
Scottish, Irish or Bourbon?
WHAT!!!
You've got to ask????
Scottish Whisky is by far the best - and let me tell you, I have tried many!
I like the other spirits out there but the scots have got the best.
I would recommend that you go with a single malt rather than a blend. Bowmore, old Pulteney or Auchentoshan are smashin.
I may come across ever so slightly biased on this subject!!!

You are sadly mistaken, my friend. No one does whiskey like the Irish.
I'm scotch fan myself - but still don't refuse a bourbon or Irish.

I occasionally drink other whiskies but Scotch whiskey is by far the best. There is simply no question. The peat fire is the key.

I agree the Irish are good at the old whisky - but yae canny beet a wee dram of the genuine article from Scotland.
The scots are rubbish at fitba but were great and making (and drinking) whisky.
I like an unbiased opinion like the one above (even though you are right).
and BTW I'm of scottish descent - dad is from Aberdeenshire my name is a little bit Scottish too.
12 year old single malt scotch.
Bushmills or Jameson. Bushmilll's Black Bush, preferably.
