hmm ... this is one of those magic eye puzzles right ?

I find myself at an indoor circuit assembly. I have volunteered for helping setup chairs for a special guest speaker, but I haven’t had time yet to look at who the speaker is on the program. I’m just told to get as many folding chairs setup as possible. I’m working for hours
You worked long and hard for the WTS

and now I’m hungry and want to stop to eat but I’m told to keep busy setting up chairs for the afternoon public talks
your needs are not important and so are not met

I sneak off anyway to grab some fast food but get caught by the elder who just gives me a disgusted look.
You should have been satisfied with the food 'Mother' gave you ("what food?!" you say)

It is now moments away from the speech and the place is packed with people. I have a chair reserved in the front row
You were devout and loved the meetings, making sure to get a good seat

but when I go up to claim it; one of the Governing Body is sitting in it
the gb was in a place meant for you

I want my blue jacket and silver attaché case back to find a new seat, but he won’t let me have them.
What makes you YOU is controlled by the gb

He tells me I’m not important.
    Duh.

I ask for my jacket back but he won’t move but I try to get my attaché case from under his seat and he struggles with me and it spills open.
You struggle to regain control of your identity, but find that it *is* a struggle -- the gb wants to retain control

Just then the new speaker is announced and it is John F. Kennedy. Everyone is excited, but I said, “He can’t be speaking as he is dead.” People just look at me like I’m totally stupid and tell me that I don’t know what I’m talking about.
You see the obvious disconnect from reality but are alone among your companions in this ability; they ridicule

In anger, I leave and I’m going out to the parking lot to get my vehicle, I discover it is a large white sewage truck, and it is being stolen as I watch. I chase after them, and I see it is the same Governing Body guy and someone else in the cab laughing at me and driving away.
Sewage = Wt spiel, controlled by the gb

    I’m really angry now
    And you ARE

this was the last straw and I need to chase after them to get the license number to report them to the police but I need a vehicle. The only other person I see in the parking lot is a black guy in a white sports car who tells me to get in and drive and chase after them.
The black guy? It's me, but the sports car is red. Yeah... candy apple red... with mags and a 140 watt stereo with... uh... where was I!?? Oh yeah...

I’m doing incredibly risky driving at high speeds through the city, driving through lights, and scaring this guy at times, but he smiles at other times and tells me to find them.
Time to live a little. You've been in the 'slow' lane long enough

I spot the truck ahead and speed up but they have spotted me and step on the gas.
    Staying just beyond your reach

I’m now chasing them down a narrow country road
Country = uncivilized. Uncultured. Raw. Open to interpretation

and they begin to dump the sewage tank in the back and the awful waste is slowing me down
interfering with the fun of racing through the city

but something goes wrong in the process of them dumping the truck, and dangerous amounts of gas build up and eventually the tank ruptures, catches fire, and the whole truck explodes, killing the drivers.
    We can only hope.

I don’t want to think about this any more and I’m driving back the country road and see a very long green garden hose that is partly buried alongside the road
    Truth

but it should be completely buried
you understand partially and it urges you to uncover more of it

and it is very urgent to take care of this but I need to get out of there before the cops come to clean up the mess from the truck.
Something else, another authority figure, stands in the way of your uncovering more of truth

I believe in the truth of dreams but believe that they are very personal. They involve things happening in your life (past or present) that only you can know.

    Skipper,

I use to do a little dream interpretation a few years back for fun but it began to freak a few people out so I stopped. There are a few books out on dream interpretation but they seem to have conflicting conclusions on several key elements in dreams. Some times things in dreams can have more than one meaning or no meaning at all. Usually it takes someone who has knowledge of the dreamers history and present circumstances to give a more accurate interpretation. Most dreams interpretations are a shot in the dark but some can be fairly accurate? I may be wrong but I would say you had this dream early in the morning right before you woke up. Those are the dreams we are most likely to remember the details of. I'll give you my shot at it and you can take it for what it's worth.

<<<I find myself at an indoor circuit assembly. I have volunteered for helping setup chairs for a special guest speaker, but I haven’t had time yet to look at who the speaker is on the program. I’m just told to get as many folding chairs setup as possible.>>>

The location of your dream starting at an assembly could be the setting up the dream theme in relation to the subject of the JW religion and your involvement in it. The fact that you are doing work for the assembly by setting up chairs can represent the time and energy you put into your life as a JW. Doing the work and not knowing who the special speaker is can represent your blind acceptance of the religion without question, maybe even a blind acceptance of whom ever they set up as a speaker or what ever they preach to you, you will accept unconditionally. The amount of chairs could represent your thoughts at that time in relation to bringing as many as possible into the religion by your efforts. Like in door to door work and bible studies.

<<<I'm working for hours, and now I'm hungry and want to stop to eat but I'm told to keep busy setting up chairs for the afternoon public talks. I sneak off anyway to grab some fast food but get caught by the elder who just gives me a disgusted look.>>>

The recognition if working for hours could represent the time period you spent as a JW doing their work and accepting their teachings for a long period in your life. The thought of you getting hungry can mean you recognized a change in your thinking that you were now interested in doing something for yourself. It was a need you had and it was something you hungered for. The sneaking off could represent the way in which you went after your need as if it was done in secret and you did not want everyone to know right away. The sneaking out for food could also represent your first doubt about the religion and you need to satisfy it. You had to get away from the whole group or privately contemplate your doubts. You knew if you pursued your doubt that there would be circumstances that you must pay. That is revealed next in your dream.

The fast food part you mentioned could mean your exit was done quickly or it was something small but significant that you satisfied your hunger with. Your first doubts or your desire to recognize a need in yourself was done in a short time frame in comparison to your time as a JW. The fast food could also represent something you considered not very healthy for you at the time. The fact that you were caught by an elder and he gave you a disgusted look is fairly easy to understand. The elder represented the authority the JW religion had over your thinking and the disgusted look was because you broke the rules and did something for yourself out of a need you knew you had. You disobeyed the authority. It could also mean those who were your JW friends now looking at you as if they are disgusted with your decision to leave and change your thinking. Rejection or disapproval because of leaving the religion.

<<<It is now moments away from the speech and the place is packed with people. I have a chair reserved in the front row but when I go up to claim it; one of the Governing Body is sitting in it.>>>

This again could have several meanings depending on what was a bigger influence in your life. The large gathering of new JW's before 1975 could cause this sense of urgency or the constant preaching of the end being very near. The fact that you had a chair reserved for yourself could represent your feeling of having a secure place within the religion at the time of the end. The urgency you felt combined with the reserved seat paints a picture of fear and a supposed safe place in regard to that time frame. Since you just worked many hours to prepare for it but slipped out briefly for food could mean you felt you were experiencing the thought they have to give everything else up and concentrate only on what they are told because the time of the end was near. Having even the slightest doubt or slipping a way for a quick meal will leave you out of the organization. This little mind control trick has been played by the JW since the beginning. And a sense of unexplained urgency still haunts many exJW's. It's hard to clean out all those cob webs.

When you came back from your brief exit you found your place that you thought was reserved for you gone. Not only was it taken, it was taken from you by the whole JW religion represented by the governing body member. This could be the meaning of a governing body member taking away what you thought you were secure in, your volatile place in line for the new system. Your brief and seemingly insignificant attempt to satisfy your hunger was rewarded to you by your complete loss of the position or place you thought you had a secure hold on. I don't know any JW that really feels they have an absolute chance of making it. You are always told the slightest thing can make you loose out. Even trying to save a place.

<<<I want my blue jacket and silver attache case back to find a new seat, but he won't let me have them. He tells me I’m not important. I ask for my jacket back but he won’t move but I try to get my attaché case from under his seat and he struggles with me and it spills open.>>>

The blue jacket as in many dreams that have clothing involved can mean your personal sense of security or an amalgam of personal possessions. In dreams where one sees them self as naked can mean they are experiencing a sense of vulnerability, insecurity or loss. In a sense they have been fully exposed and are unable to cover up actions or thoughts they once had. Clothes or lack there of can play a big part in dreams. The GB member not giving you back your jacket is in essence refusing to give you back the security you once felt in the religion. That or he has taken away your personal attachment to people, friends, or position you once felt secure about in the religion. Not allowing you to continue on to find another seat by holding on to your personal items was the religion striping you of your old thoughts of security that you once possessed and not allowing you to get them back. You cannot have your friends or way of thinking and just slide over. You loose them all.

The fact that the brief case is silver is only significant if you at the time of being a JW did not actually own a silver brief case. Since I don't know that I won't comment on it because I see this whole thing is getting a bit long and boring.

<<<Just then the new speaker is announced and it is John F. Kennedy. Everyone is excited, but I said, “He can’t be speaking as he is dead.” People just look at me like I’m totally stupid and tell me that I don’t know what I’m talking about.>>>

This is pretty heavy in the world of dream stuff. Any death or seeing someone that you know is dead is very significant. This is your turning point. You have just been rejected by the religion and it has refused to give you possessions that you had while you were in the religion. All of a sudden the event you have been waiting for happens and it is something you do not expect. It could be that you had a great respect for the authority position that JFK held and in another scenario his appearance would convince you of the strength of his message. The fact that you knew he was dead brings up the thought that the message you once were so sure about and had great admiration for is now dead. The security you had in the message and the respect you had for the religion was now being presented to you by someone you know to be dead. A conflict is established by once holding a place of reverence for the speaker but now realizing the message is a farce because it is being given by someone you know is dead. Death in a dream can represent an end, a fear, a conquest or contradiction of a once accepted of reality.

You have come to the realization that the facts that you were once so sure of represented by someone you trusted cannot possibly be true because the presentation is a farce. Respect and acceptance being represented by JFK and the farce being exposed by your knowing he is in actuality dead. Your speaking out about the contradiction in reality is you coming to the realization that what you once believed to be true is indeed a lie. The speaking up about this is your turning point. You outwardly spoke what you know is the truth and the audience looks at you like you do not know what you are talking about.

The fact that he is dead is not seen by the audience but only the respect for the speaker and the blind acceptance of his words. It can represent the JW's not being able to recognize what you now know to be true. They look back at the high position the speaker represents but refuse to accept the fact that it cannot be true. They look at the reverence they give the religion and do not see the contradiction in it's message. They accept a message by believing a lie based on an image that represents good. You alone in your dream know the real truth, but they cannot accept it.

I need to stop here, this is way too long. Since this stuff is all open to individual interpretation I will leave it at this point. If you want me to play with the rest of it, I will. I'm just trying to keep my posts a bit shorter than I have in the resent few weeks. I'm starting to be one of those long preachy boring posters I hate to read.

This was fun Skipper. Personally I think you are going through some kind of personal transition or you need a girlfriend (or both). That or you need to cut a little garlic and the Jack Daniels out of your diet. Either way, thanks for the fun post.

    Warning Fluff Post Ahead!

I have analized your dream and only I know it's meaning. The Almighty God has told me the exact meaning of your dream.

There will be seven years when pleanty of food will grow in Egypt. And then there will be a period of seven years when there will be famine. You must collect all the food you can for the next seven years, so you will survive the following seven years. Thus said the LORD.
