The 1914 generation is back for 2002.
That's right. Some people who were alive in 1914 will still be around to see the Big A according to the 2002 Theocratic Ministry School outline. I downloaded the 4.8 MByte zip file the other day and was looking for references to 1914.
From section number four of the June 17, 2002 entry (page 112):
-----
What beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses set them apart as different from other religions?
(8) Last days: They believe that we are living now, since 1914, in the last days of this wicked system of things; that some who saw the events of 1914 will also see the complete destruction of the present wicked world; that lovers of righteousness will survive into a cleansed earth.

Was this a slip-up? Careless recycling, perhaps? Or, have they come back to the pre-1995 idea that some now in their eighty eighth year (or older) are still going to be around for the Big A?
