How can this statement be meaningful in any way? Does it imply that in some scenario they actually might submit? Carry their guns to the backyard of the Brooklyn headquarters and go to the jw assembly hall insted of going to the general assembly of the united nations?
Of course, I remember, delusional statements like that did make sense in the JW framework. Now it sounds only ridiculous.

Who are the few annointed members? Are those the ones that partake at the memorial? Is that who the line is referring to? From my reading on this site, it seems those numbers are growing, not becoming fewer. Are they also trying to downplay that? And I also agree with all that they are seriously basically like the Pope. Have they refused his rule or has he failed to show up? Or should they all quit and leave a power vacuum with its ensuing anarchy just because some stupid cultists say so? Or do they think they'll take over as "God's channel"?

Sounds like the WTS is trying to hold on to dear life with their control mongering, which is all they know from their Freemasonry roots.
But it's ironic. They know 99% of the witnesses are just playing it by ear and are not engaged spiritually or mentally. They never think past the words on the pages. Their job is to find the answer, underline it and try to repeat it when they comment.
Satan knows this too. He made a wager with Jehovah that if some clearly false teaching was placed into the Watchtower that contradicted the Bible that the average witness wouldn't even notice it or care! They are just another brand of blind followers. Well, sad to say, Satan won that bet. This prophesy is another one speaking of the discusting thing causing desolation standing in a holy place. It's quite amazing how we look at 1 or 2 scriptures of a major bible prophecy, but there are infact, TONS repeating the same thing.
They leave out a third viable option: Self rule. Each individual is allowed to rule themselves, under the condition that no initiatory force, threats of force, or fraud against another person or their property is allowed. Has THAT system been given a fair chance? Or, did that Almighty Lowlife Scumbag disrupt and ruin each and every attempt on our part (Nimrod, anyone) on our part to implement such rule?
