  There is a Blanton Museum of Art in Texas it may be worth contacting them to see if there is a connection.

  I also found a History museum in Winter Garden, FL....the town where the old house once stood. I just emailed them, and attached pictures of some of the portraits. Maybe they know something....long shot, but worth a try. Thanks Nugget. I saw that when I started Googling. I'll email them as well.
