I am so excited. I lived in this new house for 3 months and finally my fiance brought in my Teadmill from the garage! He even was injured in the process. The big heavy thing landed on his foot! (oopsie) Yeah he was griping a little. He dragged it through the snow and fit it through our sliding glass doors. He so awesome! Hehe Now it's sitting in the living room waiting to be used!

I am totally going to bust a** to get in shape for my wedding this summer!! I also brought my weights out of the closet down stairs and have my workout video to get me motivated for tomorrow morning!

    Wish me luck!

good luck! i dont know about you,
but i LOVE my treadmill... best way
to watch the news! i am training for
an annual winter event here.. a 10k
across the frozen bay to raise money
for the local library.....PLUS now that
winter is officially here, i am teaching
the dogs to use it (ala dog whisperer)
to have a back-up plan for the bitter
cold that just kills their paws and
abbreviates our walks to "potty runs"

i ( as in me by myself) got my treadmill
in from an outbuilding JUST as the leading
edge of a snowstorm was hitting...
squeezed it sideways thru a door, rolled
it across the driveway, dragged it thru part
of the yard to the stairs of the back deck, where
    i had bungee'd a utility ladder as a makeshift
ramp, pulled it up the stairs, rolled it across
the back deck, thru the patio doors and into
the living room! (actually a "great room" that
is impossible to heat so we dont... making it
a good spot to work up a sweat!)

    congrats on the upcoming nuptials!!

OMGosh that's so cool! I wanna do something like that.

Hehe my poor little "Baby Girl" she's not sure at first about the snow then once she get in it she's hopping around like a rabbit! Hehe Then not to long she's at the door ready to come in, lifting both her paws back and forth like they sting... poor little girl. She's a mini Dachshound. Cute as a button!

Good luck with your training. I don't have a treadmill but I recently bought a stationary exercise bike. I do a lot of biking in the summer so it feels real good to "bike" again. I'll be doing the TRAM next July (The Ride Across Minnesota, a 5 day ride of about 300 miles) to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Society.

I love the dog - my brother has had miniature daschunds for years.

    Hi Butterfly,

Eat right, eat less, exercise more and you will get there :)

As the adverts say "willpower required"! Set your mind to it and don't look back.

    Blessings,

    Stephen

Poppers- yeah I love biking too, if it was warmer I'd rather do that.

I just did two days straight of hardcore on my treadmill. Wow I'm not like I use to be. It's crazy how easy you can fall off the wagon. But it's ok I will keep making it fun and stick to it!!

Chalam- totally agree. I've lost weight before when I got out of high school, it was way worth it and I felt healthy and good. I feel off the wagon when I first was DF, it was a real downer. But now I'm happy and motivated again!! Wahoo!

I just did 30 mins. 241 calories and doing a speed of an average 2.8. I switched up speeds cause I would get so out of breath... kinda gaged. lol

K will got to go... I'll try to keep this up to date ... I will tell ya in two weeks how I do. lol (that is usually when people have a ruff time, their second wk in and then the next will be in a month)

Good luck on your excercise program. For me it was easy to begin the training program but after a month then it disappears. Then the equipment got moved back to the garage. So hopefully you will have more success.

As you wish: Good Luck to you, but it sounds like you don't need luck. You have determination.
