I find it extremely hard to believe that Rutherford would have colluded with anyone regarding any belief he had. He was too full of himself to share his beliefs with others. Too much of a control freak. Too power hungry. Wanting the glory all for himself.

Russel was part of the freemasons he said so himself,also the old watchtower publications had a masonic symbol of a crown and a cross,if i recall it was a symbol of sacrifice and a symbol of the Holy Knights,he wa also a illuminati and friend of the Rosthchilds,they financed both mormons and Jehova witnesses,they used occultism and Russel said that a thruth said by the Devil is as truth as a truth said from God himself...and the ritual they perform every year was an ancient gnostic celebration made by Satanics to reject the blood of Jesus that most ppl there never heard about ,so i think they are hand in hand with the idea of the new world order of the illuminati and people are just puppets in their hands.

I am not here to defend the JW organization, although I have no reason to think that the JW organization is supported by the Freemasons. Russell was never a part of the JWs organization, and being a Bible Student, I do not like to see Russell's name being misrepresented.

No, the old Watch Tower publications never displayed a Masonic "crown and a cross." The Watch Tower did have a "cross and crown symbol," and it is also true the Knights Templar use a similar (although designed differently) "cross and crown" symbol, this does not mean that anyone who uses the "cross and crown" symbol is using a Masonic symbol. The Knights Templar also use the Bible; are we to assume that everyone who uses the Bible is a Mason?

Only one who is ignorant of Russell's work would claim such a thing!!!! The only illuminati that Russell believed in was the illumination of God through his spirit and the Bible.

Off course, if the devil speaks a truth, it is not a lie simply because he spoke it. How could anyone think otherwise??? If we call a truth a lie, then we ourselves would be found to be a liar.

I suppose this is related to the JWs' memorial celebration. Russell was never with the JW organization, and what he believed does not agree with what the JWs do at the memorial each year at their memorial, nor do the Bible Students today agree with the JWs' manner of celebrating the memorial.
