There is in the Bible that indicates the Magi were bad, unless one was soaking up a lot of rum spiked eggnog.
If The Magi Were So Bad Why Did God Actually Use Them?

Being a junk store fantic, I found a book published around the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century on Gnosticism. The arguement in it states that the gospels twisted the story.
The author reckoned if the Magi thought that Jesus was the messiah, why didn't they show any interest in visiting him again? He said that they did regularly, watching over him and financing Joseph Mary and Jesus while in Egypt. Also, that it was the Magi who took Jesus as a boy to India, China to learn all the mysteries, so he would be a fitting messiah. There's lots more but I forget. My sister, who is a mary magdelane follower "borrowed" the book and it's not to be seen again....

Minimus,
"They could've told Herod where the baby Jesus was but refused."
How do you know this?

Minimus, can you explain this more, I'm interested in this story. You said: "I ask these questions because the Watchtower says something that doesn't seem to make biblical sense."

They did not return to Herod as Herod wanted them to. Matt chapter 2.
Greenie, my comment is self explanatory. What don't you understand?
