    Hi JWNers,

If you didn't see the posts in the last hour or two you might wonder what I am referring too.

    http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/186375/1/have-a-very-nasty-Krist-mas

Whilst it is up to the board owners and moderators what they do on the board, I cannot understand the logic of deleting this members post's or account.

Firstly, freedom of though and speech is essential isn't it? We value it for those who have escaped the walls of the WT. However, surely we must retain a level playing field, and allow JWs to post and be respected here? After all, the vast majority here had the same beliefs at one time?

Secondly, surely the actual words of this poster actually speak volumes, as indeed do our response(s)?

I guess that contravention of the rules of play will be mentioned. However, I really think that leaving this members post's in place would have spoken far more about the WT than a month of our own postings.

    Blessings,

    Stephen

We might been able to help her, with her problem that she has .......remember we were there at one time or another

I would have liked to take a crack at her myself.

Many Pro JW posters have been welcomed and are allowed to post here.

There is a difference between someone that comes here wanting to have discussion and debate and someone who is here purely to insult and offend. We would not allow anyone to continue posting in the way Malita was whether they were pro or anti JW. We have guidelines and everyone is expected to follow them:

    1. Insulting, threatening or provoking language
    2. Inciting hatred on the basis of race, religion, gender, nationality or sexuality or other personal characteristic.
    3. Swearing, using hate-speech or making obscene or vulgar comments.

I would also point out that there has been many time a JW apologist has posted here and has been attacked - we have then taken action against the people attacking them as everyone has a right to express their opinions without being insulted and harassed.

I saw the post earlier, she was not here to help or be helped.

    only to insult

The board would have been in an uproar

Thank-you for not letting that happen

when people have their minds and hearts

on more positive loving things these

    next few days.

As an escapee from the WT, I'm all about freedom of speech and thought. But every civilized society realizes you can't yell "Fire" in a crowded movie theater (unless there really is a fire, that is). With freedom comes responsibility.

Looks like I missed the fun. I was too busy making patychky (Ukrainian meat on a stick) and fighting off Rocco. He tore through my sweatpants and is starting to shred my underwear.

I understand to an extent Stephen your points, but sadly 90% of JW apologists like her are just here to antagonise, and get abusive therefore not serving anyone's benefit, the very few that try to be civilised rarely stay on here for long

Can JWs get Df'd for giving Christmas greetings....even if it's not a nice one?

Did Melita commit a disfellowshipping offense?
