This is for us our 3rd Christmas without Watchtower !
Our Christmas dinner will be this evening, with our children and their friends, all ex-JW.
The Christmas tree is shining with lights and colours, all around the gifts for all of us with red paper and gold ribbons…
The dinner will be:
Homemade Lasagna, Meatballs and Slices of Pork-filet in tomato sauce, mixed salad, potatos quenelles/croquettes, fried artichokes, and the desert will be a typical one: small balls with honey.
So…happy Christmas to us, happy Christmas to all of you!

Ok now it works...here is the picture of this evening desert!!!
Let's enjoy it!

I'm making fish and chips for my dad. Probably will watch a movie. Maybe cure cancer if I'm bored. C'mon, just the usual. W.Once
Ham for us with the in-laws at our house. We are cleaning up the final part of the house. Ready to put the food in the oven around 10, eating at noon and exchanging gifts. Sang carols at a local theater early this week...300 people and we were great. Watchting White Christmas...love Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen.
The tree is in the family room, the stockings are hung by the fireplace.
A forum member here has invited us over for Christmas lunch. 12:30 PM. It's nice to have fellow apostates in the same town.
Jah, Humbug!
;) I'm going to go do the traditional WaffleHouse Christmas breakfast (nothing lifts your heart like a toothless "Merry Christmas!"), go do a couple hours of work, then head into the big city to have dinner with Hemplover and FOSHLL (she's making turkey chili). I think FOSHLL's bf is coming over later and we'll all go out to see Sherlock Holmes, Snapson.
Sometime close to midnight I'll probably break into tears of emotional appreciation for baby jesus saving the economy.
I stayed home today and made banana nut bread. We have a ton of snow, so traveling is not an option. Husband is working so I have a free day!!
Plus what makes it so special is that my kids are well and happy and the grandkids are adorable!
Six, you're a scrooge. I miss hearing from ya Tell baby jesus 'hi' from me ....and....MERRY CHRISTMAS SIX
Omg, I stayed up until 2:30 this morning getting stuff ready for the kids. Then hubby decided he wanted his Christmas present early so I'm sure I didn't get to sleep until 3:30. The kids got up about 7am but they know not to open anything until hubby and I get up. I was able to hold them off until 8:30. The kids are happy with what they got, which is a relief. Then I announced that all I wanted for Christmas was for the kids to make breakfast. I'm now waiting for french toast and hash browns. I should go back to bed.
P.S. We're having a turkey for dinner. This is not a day of rest for me.
