I'm waiting for the snow to thaw enough so that I can actually walk on it rather than skating! Then I'll go out for a walk.

I go back to work on Monday, just for a couple of days then I have some more holiday booked.

We certainly had a VERY Merry Christmas, I took out the empty bottles to our re-cycle bin this morning.

There were seven of us at table,one not drinking at all (the Driver, poor girl) and three ladies not drinking much. So us blokes must have laid waste to most of the nine bottles of wine and fourteen pints of strong ale !! Hic !

I am giving my liver a rest until this evening.

Finally-Free

I had 2 friends over for dinner last night. It was a pot luck and the 3 of us ended up with enough food to feed 20. About half way through dinner my bird decided he'd had enough of being left out. He flew to the dining room from the other end of the house and landed his butt in the buns and his beak in the rum & butter carrots. I was worried that he might of swallowed some of the rum/butter sauce, which was pretty potent, but he's ok.

Now I'm off to clean up.

Christmas was exchanging gifts with some non-JW family. It was great.

Had a wonderful day yesterday...full of family and good friends and food I shouldn't have eaten, but was sooooo good! Wish my kids and grandkids were here, but I got to talk to them.

Today...just relaxing. My boyfriend made coffee and breakfast...we read the newspaper...and now he's grocery shopping. I'm spoiled rotten!

And.... I have this upcoming week off!
