    Many thanks Cantleave,

It is great to see the way you are honest about how the Cult made you act, I am sure your posting of your story will be cathartic.

I am sure too that deep down you were not happy with the cognitive dissonance you had to bring in to play to justify what you did. I have only got to know you since you joined here, but I am convinced that the cult " you " has truly gone, and now Nugget can forget that "Git" , he is no more.

Mr Hyde has gone, just the good Doctor Jekyll remains.

It does all of us good to to read such a story, all of us can relate to parts of,if not most of, it.

I hope the head gets better, I know you can't have had any bad beer, there is no such thing, some beer is much better than others, but there is no bad beer !

Love and a Happy New year to you, Nugget and the kids,

    Wobble

Thanks for your candid experience Cantleave.

I personally am at the point where I can no longer tell people outright that I am one of Jehovahs Witness because I am deeply ashAmed of this Organisation for the very reasons that you have outlined. I am however not ashamed to tell people that I am a Christian. If anybody asks me which denomination. I tell them that I prefer not to say as I disagree with so much of their doctrine. I am a christian through and through and will only go by that name from now on as I feel totally comfortable with that, I will encourage them to read their bibles and let the holy spirit direct them in the way they should go.

I will never be ashamed of my lord Jesus Christ and will tell others about the good news of the Kingdom. Your experinece is an example of how mens interpretations and rules have made a mockery of what Jesus taught his followers.

Thank you once agin for your experience

    TE

Yep. lisavegas420, I cried both times I met with the JC. That was part of the reason I put off going back to ask to be reinstated a second time. Obviously my hearfelt emotions didn't move them. Plus, I thought they could see that I was repentant by how many hours I spent reading the Bible and Watchtwor publicatons, studying and attending all the meetings. If that wasn't good enough for them, then what is? I already felt like God had forgiven me, what was taking them so long to forgive me? No I could care less what they think of me!
