I am not aware that the WTS made any public response.
Mantey was aged about 90 at the time, so the WTS could simply sit and wait.

I'm pleased to see a Japanese translation of the letter, Possible-san. I'm glad to know that these things are known outside the English-speaking world of ex-JWs.

Their doesn`t seem to be any end to their deception.Even though this dates back to 1974,my first awakening was the misquoting of the late Carl Sagan (evolution book )also the higher education and blood misquotations to support their "theology"
