I remember seeing on a site critical of the NWT a letter handwritten by a Greek scholar around 1950-ish that stated Jehovah's Witnesses hate Jesus Christ.

If you know which site or which professor, please share it here.

I believe the professor was from Northwest(ern?) Theological Seminary.

    Thanks.

I've been trying via Google but all I've got so far is that Dr. Bruce Metzger wrote an article entitled:

"The New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures" for "The Bible Translator" (a magazine?) in 1964. I find many NWT critics referencing it but can't find the article itself yet...

    Thank you, Mad.

    I've been chasing down leads.

I vaguely recollect something about Paul Blizard's site.

    Lookee what else I found!

    · Mason, Doug, JEHOVAH in the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ New World Translation , (Bethel Ministries, Manhattan Beach, California, 1987). An excellent critique of the JWs’ use of “Jehovah” in the New World Translation, focusing largely on the manuscript evidence. Highly recommended by Robert Bowman.

    Is this our Doug Mason?

    Thanks, Jamie.

I believe the professor wrote the letter to Dr. Walter Martin.

    I'm still searching.

Can't be of any help on that subject, but they do not love Jesus or the God they worship. If they did, they wouldn't make them liers. Watchtower,May 15, 1984 "Jehovah's word through Jesus is The generation of 1914will not pass away before the end comes." "The END will come within the LIFE span of the generation of 1914."
