What chaps my hide is the hubristic way some completely discount the Creator!

Please, give us one reasonable piece of evidence. Faith alone will not cut it.

Either something is true or false, Gerard.
I believe the Genesis account is true.

That is the difference. Some of us seek reasonable explanations, while some of us give up to reason and wish upon a star.

What makes you think I'm not excited about biology and physics?

Because the genesis account is diametrically opposed to biology and physics. You cant have your cake and eat it Sylvia.

I believe the Genesis account is true.

One thing is to "choose" what story to believe on, another is to find reasonable biochemical explanations. Once the facts are on the table (abiogenesis or evolution), the only "choice" you have is to deny the facts in favor of stories.

For me, the question is not whether life evolves but rather is it really possible for life to arise from non-living matter at all. --Paul

Any respected scientist would agree with your statement and question, Paul. Sciende does not know yet if abniogenesis (life arising from non-living matter) is possible. However, science will not come to a halt just because someone made an uncomplicated, esay to understand little story of an imaginary god.

    Cheers.
