It looks like spell check changed maturbation to mastication, but otherwise, its great! You can't make that crap up.
Anyone who feels that JW's aren't at the very least an invasive high control group would be surprised to read all of this.

I don't know if you're joking or not, but if you aren't--it's intentional. That's the only part of the article that has been changed (masturbation to chewing).

Very quickly for the time being, I have to mention this:

I am sure that that it is also natural for a healthy and normal female to feel a measure of sexual drive. I wonder if the marriage arrangement provides the means for satisfying such sexual desire. I notice the article refers to female "mastication" or the sexual needs of a woman only as a minor subject:
"When a girl has the problem she may want to approach either an elder or a mature, respected Christian sister for help."
What happens when a grown up woman has "the problem"? And, what would a mature and respected Christian sister do to "help" the masticating girl? How can another person "help you" not to have normal desires? WHAT WOULD AN ELDER DO FOR HER?
I'm sure the article could be dissected even more.

dgp, that's a great example of the dysfunctional/nonexistent interpersonal boundaries in the cult.
It is SO not appropriate for people to be asking acquaintences their parents' age for spiritual advice about such a private matter. IMHO, that is.
Johnny is touching himself like 95% of other boys do, and he goes and tells his friend's dad about it? Joanie touches herself--a perfectly normal, healthy, private activity--and she has to meet with a few pastors about it? Creepy.

I have to laugh at this assertion.
Helpful in this regard, then, is appreciating the fact that auto-eroticism or mastication is no mere innocent pastime but rather a practice that can lead to homosexual acts.
If that were true there would be a lot more homosexual males on the planet, for 90% of males masturbate during their developing teen years.
You can tell the GB have degrees in human sociality behavior.
Or maybe you can tell they don't even have a high school diploma.
