Has anyone ever felt they were possessed by a demon?

It was the "in-thing" to happen to sinners in Jesus' time, being possessed. Some could boast they had legions of demons calling their body home.

It was also a primary miracle for the top Christians to perform, ridding demons away, proof you had God's spirit."Be gone YOU Demon!!"

How does the WTS explain this today? The demons have better things to do, like living in and being preserved in tuperware at yard sales?

And I'm just curious, if you were demonized, can you describe the feeling, and what you did to get rid of it?

I do remember one experience about a sister, in a KH showing signs of demon possession. The Elders REALLY felt she was demonized. I know this account to be true, because two of them called me for advice and related the sordid details. It was similar to the exorcist movie. I never did hear back what happened to her.

I also knew of a group of JW's who thought a sister was demonized because she was sick and the doctors couldn't find anything wrong. So they formed a circle around her, each saying a prayer,(sisters included) then laying their hands on her. They reasoned that's what the apostles would have done. That's what they told us.

I find the part of your story about them forming a circle and laying their hands on her hard to believe, that is so out of character of what JW'S believe.

Yes back when I was married to my first wife, she possessed me all the time she made vomit pea soup even when I had not eaten any.

No, never possesed my self,but the house yes.

We had a visiting bethelite who gave a slide show. He had my room and I had to sleep in the basement. It was not a wierd basement...our family room was just outside where I had to sleep.

A mattress was there for me. I didn't think twice about it .... In the middle of the night I woke up to go to the bathroom. "When I laid back down the bed lifted off the ground and started spinning. I was still wide awake. I was too scared to scream. It eventually landed, and I never went back to sleep.

I just layed there like an idiot.

I told my parents and they were totally freaked out.

Take it or leave it, this kind of crap happened.
