I will speak for all the curly haired people:
You NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER comb curly hair.
I haven't owned a brush or a comb in 25 years.

I have not read the posts yet, I do not comb my hair at all. I just have a clipper here. I shave my head completely off every one to two months. It looks good on me.

That "Don't Judge My Hair" picture is identical to one of the elders wives in my wife's cong.
they used to be Hippies apparently and I don't think she has ever recovered.
You are supposed to comb your hair each day to look good on the doors for preaching etc.

It's good to brush your scalp each day. If hair gets in the way then so be it.
