Just looked through some of the largest populations in the world and ten of them add up to 3,500,000,000. How many witnesses serve these 10 countries. No more than 60,000. The largest are China and India which together have around 2.5 billion people. So is the JW good news being spread earthwide. I hardly think so.

I've made this same point a number of times.

There was a poster on here a while back who had some knowledge of JWs in India. IIRC, he said that virtually all of the 28,000 or so JWs there were clustered in one or 2 major metropolitan areas with a strong Christian background. I.e., well over 99% of the population in India have, as you said, never even heard of JWs.

Between China, India, and the predominantly Muslim coutries, yep, about half of the world have probably never even seen a Bible, let alone "received a witness" from JWs.

I made a somewhat similiar point to an elder in my congregation last summer.

He then had the "deer in the headlights" look on his face. That was then followed by a nervous smile and he said, "That's why we need to go out and preach urgently."

I will remember this for when the fallout comes my way from the ridiculous new generation doctrine thingy, I reckon that my family will somehow turn that into "the time is short"

so I will say that I trust the scripture that says the" Good News will be preached in all the earth, then the end will come "

And as you lot (JW's) have not reached half the earth yet, boy I got loads of time.

Even if they have heard of JWs, all they know about them is they don't celebrate holidays or salute the flag or take blood. They haven't a clue what the "Good News of the Kingdom" is according to Jehovah's Witnesses. For all those billions of hours out preaching - there are billions of uninformed people.

And what's great about all this is that the population increase in most of these places is far outpacing the JW growth. Not only are JWs not preaching to all the inhabited earth, they're preaching to fewer and fewer people as a percentage as time goes on.
