I had a funny experience during a business trip to the Netherlands. One of my last nights there, I wanted to get rid of this bunch of coins I had. After the bartender served me a beer, I pulled out a handful of coins and gave it to him as a tip. The next day, I come in and he's acting all friendly and gives me a beer on the house. Later I find out the tip in coins for the beer was worth about $45 dollars US.

@Think About It: wowee, great compliment!! No, this is me... Wow, did you give the guy 22 2,- euro coins or something? I will give you a beer of the house as well after your compliment. ;) Did you know that Anouk went to an assembly of JW's last year? It was only one day, but everybody was in a state I've heard. An old sister asked her (for the not-Dutch members: she's a very famous rock-singer in the Netherlands) 'So did you enjoy the day dear? What do you usually do?' And Anouk said that she's a singer. The old sister didn't recognise her, which was extremely funny!

Lady V......you had me fooled. Zooey Deschanel is hot....which makes you hot too!
Not sure what I gave the bartender. He just was acting so friendly, I just got to thinking.....he is either hitting on me or something about the tip was not normal. Inquired to someone about what these coins are worth and found out quite a bit. Usually, other foriegn country coins were not worth that much.
