Nope. I had left the witnesses three and a half years BEFORE I came here and totally had negative feelings towards the cult. But it wasn't until I came on here and read this site and Steve Hassan's books that I learned the witnesses are a cult. No wonder I didn't like the WT society

Nun whatsoever, I came here to help people out.
I realized years ago that it was a commercialized coercive cult, that was screwing people lives up,
so I jumped in as supportive help.
I left the Borg in 1980.

The only thing I didn't want to acknowledge was that the religion is a "cult". THAT word bothered me. The thought that I could've been in a cult, disturbed me! I would rather say "cult like". Brother Farkel helped me see the error of my ways.
