LOL that baby is a freak! You only spread a very tiny bit on your toast.....not like Jam {Jelly} or Peanut butter! Just scrape the surface of the toast....otherwise you O.D.

    Yep, been there, done that.

To me it tastes like concentrated beef boullion, which is understandable, because it is hydrolysed (broken-down) protein.

Its not on my list of "favorite things" (puppy dog tails - YUM! Brown paper packages tied up with strings - YUMMO!), but I'd indulge to be socialble.

I actually had to order it, because they don't sell it in stores in the U.S. as far as I know. Anyway, I wanted to try it, because I have a good Aussie friend who dared me. And I honestly can't say I like it that much, but I don't hate it. It's a bit too salty for me. How long does it keep anyway, because I still have a full jar of it.

Marmite is nice in small quantities. You gotta spread it real thin on some buttered toast.

I've never tried vegamite, but I think it's pretty much the same. It's a beer making by-product.

Well I'd never heard of it; I take vitamins if I want that kind of thing, but I found this site which is very ... um ... nice:
