Tragedy on the luge track.

It's in some doubt if there would be a luge event now, and if so, whether it's going to be akin to Russian Roulette.

The Canadian health care system had nothing to do with it !

What did kill the poor fellow, at least in my opinion , was a poorly designed luge structure,

that should have had some kind of padding on the upright support frame.

He came off the track coming out of the fastest turn at a speed of over a 100 Km. ( 60 mph. )

and struck a steel support pole that was located close to the track.

Someone's ass is going to be in a sling over this , you can bet on it.

I've luged before and I can confirm that the end of a curve is the most dangerous part of the entire track itself.

What a terrible way for the games to start off, shocking actually.

Thanks Heaven I will be attending 2 speed skating events at the Olympic Oval.

This situation though has to be seen out of the unusual norm

being that the track has been there for almost 2 years now

and there have maybe been hundreds of runs taken on it.

Personally I would be a little set off going on a run that had just killed

someone.

As its known, you have hardly any control of your luge at these kinds of speeds

and this particular luge track is said to be the fastest in the world at the moment.

Not sure what doctor to go to ... have to figure out whether it came from the front or the back.

Thankfully not all Americans make such idiotic comments.

It sounds like you have to see a Proctologist or a Urologist .

But in the mean time just roll up a Watchtower magazine and insert that, it will hold

you for now until see a doctor. Take care
