Robert Pevy, who joined the Editorial Dept (formerly writing Comm) some decades ago, and was chief writer of the infamous "Revelation, its Grand Climax" book, has died.

Apparently his Grand Opus was edited, because Lloyd Barry "did not like some of the explanations"

What I wonder is, were Pevy's explanations MORE looney than what went in to the final draft? Is that possible ?

I guess he was right, the grand climax did arrive for him .

Sounds to me he was just toting the party line, just like everyone else in Brooklyn at the time.

The book as many others by the WTS. was just convoluted bullshit to help support the WTS. publishing company.

    A truthful Revelation.

I remembered his video at www.jw-media.org In that video, he was explaining disfellowshipping. Does anyone remember that video too? I saw that video more than few years ago. Not sure if it is still there or not.

It's amaing to look at the people the GB trusts to write this shit.

In any case, may he RIP.

Another life ending in disappointment due to unfulfilled promises and expectations.

That 7 trumpets of Revelation = 7 JW conventions was a load of crap.

They still sticking to this meaning or has there been "new light" on this?

That video he was on, just reiterates how scripturally selective the WTS has gone to put out dissidents

who oppose them to protect their self proclaimed power.

In reality this is exactly the same way other religious organizations operate themselves, so its not uncommon.

If you research the WTS, going back to Rutherford days , this self imposing inner policy was forwarded

to set apart dissidents, whether you were a member of the flock or not.
