Thanks to many contributors over the years freeminds has best part of 100 life stories on the site.

    http://www.freeminds.org/life-stories/index.php

Day in day out these stories are being read - in some cases they have many thousands of page views. Imagine how many people have been helped by reading real life stories written first hand?

These are a massively popular, and therefore I would suggest helpful, part of the site.

So now I am asking for your help - please consider writing your story for us. We can publish it with your real name or anonymously - your decision.

But we would like more stories - you can write it in sections and we will publish them as they come.

Please consider this and drop Randy or myself a PM or email [email protected]

Thanks for taking the time to think about helping out.

People should also check some of the links on the dropdown toolbar at the top of the page. My story is listed under Articles/Sociology/Marriage and Sexual Abuse so you won't find it under Life Stories

It's also listed under my maiden name -- #3

besty... do you have any tips for us regarding length and content? Also, do you wish to have stories from non-JWs who have been affected by the WTS due to family and/or friends who are in?

Yes, Betsy, I would be classified under the non-JW who is married to a witness.

for lady lee - yes its an known weakness of the content management system we use that articles can't be listed in more than one category - so when we created the new freeminds site about a year ago we had a decision to make with a lot of articles - were they more a life story or more relevant to, in your case, a marriage story - difficult in some cases.

for garyneal and heaven - yes we would be happy to have stories on the impact on non-JW's - again this is most valuable as we have a lot of visitors who have a loved one 'studying' with the witnesses

I know in my own situation that the life experiences were the first things I dared to read on ex-Witness websites. And one the reasons I started questioning everything.

which have not yet been transferred over to the new site. This is one of my satellite sites.
