The Coen brothers films are obviously very quotable! Love all of 'em. We use the "there are lots of ins and outs and what have yous" alot.
So many from "Arthur" I can't remember them all:
"Will the more attractive of you please step forward?"
"Steal something casual"
"One usually has to go to a bowling alley to meet a woman of your caliber" (or something like that)
"I'll alert the media" (overused I admit)
"I wish I had a nickel for every nickel I have"
"If I begin to die will you please remove this hat from my head?"
I'll stop now -
A little known one from the movie with Robert Duvall "The Great Santini", to explain the condition of a soldier obviously dead drunk on a table in a restaurant:
"He's had the flu Sir, and it's weakened him"
Twilight: "Here comes the human!" I use "human" a lot, like when walking my dog I say, "Humans first" when she likes to rush through a door. Or, I say that I'd better not hit the human crossing the road because they make a mess on the windshield. Gross, I know, but it's fun:)
(whoknows, I think we did discuss one time didn't we how annoying it would be if we watched "Arthur" together...repeating all the lines! )
More Arthur...
"Want another fish?"
"This is a goner"
"Peanuts!!!!!!"
"Where's the rest of this moose?" "This is a tough room, don't have to tell you that.(talking to the moose.)" (Used that a lot in Montana.)
