Ridiculous Talk Given By CO

  My mother told me of the CO giving a talk and telling everyone to get their hankies out because they would be sure to cry, which evidently some did.

  A 5 year old boy was dying in the hospital and his parents were by his bedside. He was drifting in and out of consciousness and then he opened up his eyes and asked his mother if he was a Catholic. The mom told her son he was not. He closed his eyes again and drifted off. Minutes later he once again asked, "Are you SURE I'm not a Catholic??" The mom said," Of course you're not, you're a Jehovah's Witness. Why???" The 5 year old boy answered, "Because if I was a Catholic, I'd never get to live in the Paradise". The mom reassured him he WAS going to be in the Paradise and right after that the young boy died.

  The CO praised the mom for teaching her baby boy from infancy the truth of God's Word.

  I told my mother he was probably seeing St.Peter ready to welcome him to heaven and the poor kid got confused.

  This is the sort of logic that gets children baptized at age 6. When they are taught that they will be destroyed unless they are witlesses, they become afraid of being some other religion (or no religion) real young--and ripe for getting baptized. Of course, they will then find out that it is a burden to live someone else's life, and have it usurped for someone else.

  At least this child didn't become one of the 7.3 1.8 million active publishers.
