Now a question. Why do men want to pad themselves up and shoot a puck around an icerink or clim into a ring and beat the crap out of each other? Most would say it is spoort but I find it hard to see anything artistic about it

I don't know how she will do it or get through the rest of the competition (her Mom died on Sunday afdter arriving in Vancouver to watch her daughter skate)

I keep wanting to answer why you get all teary eyed. I do to. It is emotional to watch people work so long and so hard for something and see the end of all their hard work.

Tell me about it. The whole thing gets me so choked up and the only thing I can explain it with is that I can finally allow myself to be free to allow my emotions to come to the fore. Don't get me wrong, I used to get all teary eyed before but i would put the brakes on - which is really sad when you think about it. Now, I can buy a Canada sweatshirt and let fly..and I LOVE it!!
