Yeah, I've had it done..rolled around on the ground like a shot dog with one of them..That shit hurts..take the pain medicine and lay down..

Bet it was a bitch in the old days.....when it was harder to take care of them and get them pulled out with no pain killers besides whiskey.

Another lucky person here born without wisdom teeth!

At least two of my children have wisdom teeth though, so I have not passed on the lucky gene.

I had 2 out one week and 2 out the next. Yes, it felt like being in a prize fight and jaw broken in a hundred places. Pain meds are the best, though. I would recommend to get them all pulled while they are healthy so you don't have pain later from absesses and cavities.

It looks like they only got half the tooth. Bet they had to go back in and dig the rest of it out.

Oh yes, had that done. 2 at a time for me. The procedure is no big deal now - it's the aching afterward that gets me. Those pain meds are your best friend those first couple of days!

Also, make sure you rinse the hole in your gums constantly. Stuff gets in there and rots and smells horrible if you're not vigilant.

All 4 of mine. went to an oral surgeon. wouldn't do it any other way. It really pays to research who you get work done by, and i you don;t like them go somewhere else. I had a root canal done recently, it was completely painless, which was a new experince for me, even in regular filings. This person just does endodontics, nothing else. Just need to find the right person, for me, that is usually a specialist.

Had two impacted wisdom teeth surgically removed on the same side...hurt like hell...face was bruised from my mouth to my ear...did I mention tht I have a bad reaction to pain meds? I took Vicodin the first day and then gutted it out.

Btw, do not use a straw or smoke while healing. It can cause big problems!
