That's what I hate about this religion. The GB preaches that people have their own conscience, but if you make a decision on your own all you need is one idiot with connections to complain about it and then they will try to dry your ass crazy over it.

she's really good! the problem is if she continues in this course that family is going to crash head on into the brick wall of the watchtower bible and track society.
It is very difficult for a JW to do this type of thing without having some repercussions. A Witness in Auburn won a car on a game show and there was so much backlash they were put down from being an elder. Anna has great voice, but sadly I am sure someone will complain that being on XFactor is displaying pride and a competitive spirit and that the song was bad since she say's "I am trouble".
Yup - I am sure she has already been called in for a little talking to.
But it is OK for Prince to be a JW...probably would have been OK for Michael Jackson to continue too, had he not walked out on them. Being rich and famous does have some JW advantages.
Great performance, be interesting to see where she gets, it may be her way out of the cult, so good luck to her.

Thanks blacksheep! i was just thinking about checking youtube for more videos of her. :-) I can just imagine how it was the next day at the KH: Anna... A sister mentioned you have a new boyfriend, but the same sister was stumbled by his un-theocratical grooming. Is he a christian? Have you been alone together?
Seriously, I think she has a really good voice! i hope she will get far.
I hope she does well. This may be her (and her parents') exit strategy.

Anna Synger is good but she looks inhibited.
She is probably worried that if she moves in a sexy way, or shows too much leg, she will be considered 'loose.'
There is no room for sisters or nuns in show business.
