Lost is like so many TV shows from the US one series is more than enough as they always lose plot when writing the second, the story gets so far fetched and stupid it's pointless watching it.

It was a Brain Fart. I confused "Joshua" for "Jacob". There is no character "Joshua" in LOST. His name is Jacob.

Count me among the Lost fans out there. I know that the 3rd & 5th seasons kind of lost their way (pardon the pun) but season 5 was riveting and I'm glued to it. I love the sideways stories and the way that they're bringing season 1 back into the plot. I watched the first season right before this one started and I'm loving how it's all tying together.

I don't know Mary. Out side of their being a table with about a dozen people situated around it and all posed the same way, I don't see any similarities. Am I missing something?

Don't you think that the promotional picture of Lost, that they're all looking at John Locke like he's the Messiah? That's the first thing that struck me when I saw the picture. I thought "that looks alot like Leonardo DaVinci's Last Supper.

This is my take on what is going to happen:
1. Jacob kept track of his candidates at the Lighthouse not the cave. Jacob is white side (rock) thus LIGHThouse.
2. MIB kept track of his candidates in the cave and blamed it on Jacob. MIB is dark side thus dark cave.
3. Jacob telling Hurley to go to the Lighthouse and turn it to 108 was a ruse because the guy on 108 was "Wallace" and he was crossed out.
4. In the end Sawyer is going to take over for MIB and Jack is going to take over for Jacob and the whole thing will repeat itself for eternity. Jack vs. Sawyer has been a theme the entire series.
I had other ideas the other day but now I can't remember them. I've been a fan from the very first day!!! I was going to start a thread on here but didn't know if anyone would be interested. Let's keep this up. It's so fun to talk about LOST. Haters just ignore the thread okay? Don't ruin the fun!

Lost is great - though deeply frustrating as well.
Definately a major Egyptian influence - the great statue is almost certainly the Egyptian god Anubis - the ankh in the hand represents Eternal Life.
Also Anubus has 4 toes - as does the statue in Lost.
Like I say - I enjoy Lost but, my goodness, its weird.......
The ending of the last series better not disappoint......
