If you smoke that, aside from medical use, you're probably naive or uncon-
cerned about where the money goes. You're just thinking you're getting some-
thing and how you're going to change how you feel. I've been through some
things in my adult years that made me more aware of where it goes, and what some
of those people do. Don't give them money.I doubt that it will be legalized for general use. Maybe science could come
up with something that gives people a similar feeling without the detrimental
effects, and no money would go to organized crime. If it's a sex problem, get
some Viagra. Whatever--but don't give those kind of people money then leave
that out of the equation of what you're doing, or expect others, especially
victims of organized crime, to not think of that as part of what you're about.
They'll know, whatever you say, you're helping to finance the criminals who hurt
them. -

Sorry, but I'm from the Netherlands and as you might know: it's legal here... (and a LOT stronger than the US/UK stuff, that's for pussy's ;-))
But I had boys in my class who smoked daily during breaks and seriously they were sloooowwww... 80% of them started hard drugs after that and one of them died recently.

Funny story:
In the Netherlands it is also 'legal' (tolerate) to own under 5 Marihuana plants. So one of my neighbors, funny guy, had a few plants in his garden. He gave one to my other neighbor, a very naïeve JW girl of my hall. ;-)
So one evening I came into her house and saw the marihuana plant on her balcony! She said she moved the plant outside because of the smell. ;-) When I told her that it was a Marihuana plant, she was in TOTAL shock. I laughed my head off!!

Being in a state, where it is legal if prescribed, it is very common to know someone who smokes it legal. However, and I stress this point, some people were given it to ease pain and others just use it to get high and faked the pain to make it legal. So to say pot smokers are dumb and slackers, is to ignore all these people who faked out doctors to get it prescribed. LOL.
I work with a man who does it because he has headaches. I am fairly certian, he did not have headaches 24/7 ... but he is now stoned 24/7. So, when you do make it legal, there is always the extreme or compulsive personality.

The only reason money goes to organized crime is because it is illegal. Organized crime is the result of prohibition, not the drug itself.
If you want to eliminate organized crime related to marijuana, legalize marijuana.
Think about it... have you ever heard of a "Hamburger Cartel?" Of course not! That's because hamburgers are legal. Same goes with alcohol. There are no "Alcohol Cartels" because it is legal and regulated. The only time we had "Alcohol Cartels" was when alcohol was illegal... which produced people like Al Capone.
