Kind of like tough fatty beef. Not very good. But I can say I rode on a camel and ate camel on the same day. :)
The donkey meat I had the night before was way, way, way better. Would go to the donkey restaurant again if I ever found myself in that boring town again. Good stuff.

Camel was domesticated in 1913 because later on T.E.Lawrence used it to capture Aquaba and drive the turks out ....
