  department of juvenile correction. They are always looking for people. It may take a few months to get

  hired but the pay and benefits are above average. The job you want to apply for is detention, corrections

  officer you take care of the youth that have been arrested.

  Once you apply call them every 2 weeks until they hire you because they dont want you to keep bugging

  them.

  Got a friend who moved to Cleveland from LA for a job, then got laid off. He is UCLA degreed and is now a bouncer at a club. He is definately homesick, but has no opportunity back in Cal, so he stays.

  My niece and her fiancee, both college degreed (teachers) could not get a job in California. So, they decided to move to New Zealand. Strange uh? But, there, they can have jobs, not great ones, (waitress, bartender) got a decent home near the beach, and are seeing the world while they wait for the economy to improve in the states.

  Their visa let's them stay at least a year.
