I wonder if any of those who will knock on my door will be the sons or daughters of someone who is posting here.

They might be my kids, thank you for being kind to them!

They wouldn't accept me because of my simbianness.

It hurt so bad I went apostate on them.

married a witness! I thought i was getting a sex kitten but really got a cat!

The board gives me an understanding of witness mentality. It also gives me ideas of how to start getting dearest wife's little grey cells to operate independently!

married to a born-in witness. we have 2 kids both where baptized and both are out. just hoping against hope that my spouse will be next. as time goes on it seems less and less likely thats gonna happen. I have considered leaving, but i'm too much in love. two lives goning in different directions. I love this place, lets me know im not alone and that there are people who get out. also i don't have time to keep up with the crazy "nu light" so i get it here. sometime before my spouse.

I studied theology for a few years as an undergraduate. We learned about cults, as far as their doctrines. I was amazed when i found out here how little i knew about how JW-ism is fleshed out in real life, and i've been shocked by what i've learned here. I was looking for more info a few years ago, because my daughter's high school best friend was born-in. His mother pioneers, and came knocking at my door, not having any clue who i was, or that my daughter lived here, in spite of him being here several times a week during senior year! I asked her if she would let her kids die for lack of blood, and she said YES! with an eerie smile, and not even any hesitation. Since then, I've participated in distributing flyers detailing some of the practices such as blood, to warn the public. (Thanks for recruiting me, Sister Pioneer!) -- I'm still very interested in the Bible and theology, and i appreciate the intelligent discussion here, and the candid sharing of real lives.

This is part of my "Spirituality"; my need "To Leave a Legacy". My Father is a Ministerial Servant. But he is aging and no longer able to perform his JW duties the way he used to.

I am here to learn and to contribute. With what I learn here, I wish to be able to help my Dad as best I can in the years to come before he passes away. Perhaps I can help him be less depressed about his situation.

I feel that my presence here can give an "outsider's" view of life with JWs and can also show JWs that what they've been led to believe is false. Not all 'worldly' people are evil.
