Well, I don't really fall into the belief that it is OK to have sex without love, at least for me. But who hasn't really. The one time I did, I immediatley felt cheap and like I used some girl that I would never consider even dating. I have just always been a romantic. Sex without love seems very utilitarian to me, like in the animal kingdom. To put it simply, emotions are just as important to me as getting my nut off. My heart guides me, not my "dowel rod".

    Hi Gilwarrior,

I would just add that you should listen to your own heart and soul, be honest with yourself, and you will know what you want and need.

Sex can be beautiful, powerful, fun and heaven knows satisfying, with anyone you trust. It is also completely natural and something most everyone needs in varying degrees.

But what I have learned with my relationship with Skeptic is that when you are making love with someone whom you are truly and completely in love with, it becomes the most perfect, and the most gratifying thing two people can do. And one of the most wonderful things about sex with your soulmate is that the feeling lasts long after the lovemaking is over. When you are truly in love, sometimes you can express through your lovemaking what you cant seem to completely convey with mere words; at least that is the beauty and joy I have found as Skeptics lover, friend and soulmate.

    Sincerely,

Do all men look at every woman they meet and decide if they would have sex with them???

Don't most women look at men the same way? I believe that most women do look at men and think about the possablility of ending up in bed with that man. At least if they are dating that man.

I know of the nearly 20 women I have been on dates with, I have at least considered the possability of waking up with them. What is wrong with that.

Regarding Gilwarrior's question, I can't say for certain. I have never imagined myself having sex with some woman I did not love. So in short,

    I don't have sex, I make love.

Is this a light saber in my pocket or am I just happy to see you?

I thought I'd never have sex when I was a JW, because I was a bit on the geek side of things. Then I met my astounding beautiful wife, and things have been better since then. She actually thinks I'm handsome!!!

I have never made love to a person I didn't love. Then again, never really had the opportunity to. It does mean a lot, though, when you're making love, instead of just bonking and having sex.
