My GAWD - he had the perfect excuse to NOT go door to door (the secret fantasy of 99% od dubs) and is trying to go to court to ruin it!!!

Bat shit crazy just on that count. ( Besides being a stalker and attempted rapist. )

At least, we don't have to say anything, the JW advertise it themselves, crazy, ex-con JW insists can go to people's doors. Hope this is getting publicized in Cincinnati! The elders probably don't know what to do, probably contacting the Headquarters and waiting for answer to tell them what to do. The Headquarters will probably tell them to disfellowship him.

claiming it unconstitutionally prohibits him from practicing his religion by proselytizing door-to-door

He can practice his religion without proselytizing. Going door-to-door should be a priveledge not a requirement .

The WT has got this all messed up.

I agree with the crazy part. There is something deeply disturbed about a man that would break into a house and hide in the closet. Sounds like a stalker in the making.

Reading the article the man made a mistake. He behaved badly and sexually assaulted his on off fiance. She was probably extremely traumatised by the incident and he was stalking her. He has been punnished but not treated and I would be concerned if he was engaging in witness activity in my area. He was regarded as a sufficient threat to be put under restrictions and monitored so even though time has passed since the original incident it would be better if he didn't take part in witness activity. The fact that he can't seem to see that for himself is a concern perhaps he wants freedom for a whole other reason.

    A little disturbed, I'd say.......

I wonder if the sisters in the Kingdom Hall openly embrace this man, or if they are, "He's a little wierd"/standoffish?

Must be a loon that married the man, too.

Haha... Just think...the Society going to court to protect the rights of their followers to preach door to door may have inspired this fellow to do the same.

Oh, how Jehovah's name is being sanctified among the nations...

He says his religious practice of going door-to-door twice a week with Witnesses made him well-suited for a job in sales, which he eventually found with a roofing company

Oh certainly, sell a W/tower or sell a new roof , what the difference?

He is an almost rapist guilty of a serious sexual assault, albeit some while ago...Did he have twinge of conscience that made him stop the action, or was it a physical malfunction?? (if you get my point)

Now he lies to the court about first call Field Ministry every week or two being a requirement of his religion. I would like to send the opposing lawyer or his Probation Office a WT quote about there being all manner of ways to Witness, not just House to House..eg invalids and housebound people.

Why not do a whole day once a month if he is so motivated ? he could get up to ten or twelve hours in that way...I am amazed that he was not firmly told by the cong. to drop this and keep it out of the press
