Well I blew of field service two weeks in a row now. I"m prepping to get chewed out. Can someone tell me what the scripture is that says "is anyone says the end is near do not listen" something to the jist of that? I can't remember where it is. I think Luke but not sure. anything else be helpful too

just tell them you have decided to explore alternative forms of the ministry and you have been working on more passive approach. you are letting the people come to you, and since they have not come to you, you assume that they have made their stand.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (New International Version)
The Man of Lawlessness
1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
This is a clear warning against those who will falsely say Lord Jesus has already returned (WT included).
