Thank God there were 2 killer earhquakes that killed hundreds of thousands of people! It wll make door-to-door sales of one issue of the Watchtower so much easier!
Say, maybe He could cause a outbreak of ebola in a crowded population center, and the WT could have a cover on "21st century pestilence" a few months later! Wouldn't that be happifying!

Instead of destroying God's enemies and bringing about a Paradise Earth, locking Satan and his demons away and bringing humanity back to perfection, JESUS HAS BEEN PUBLISHING THE WATCHTOWER MAGAZINE!
That's right! This magazine is then carried door to door to COMFORT humanity with the promise that Jesus will...um....
Wait a minute!
If he's ALREADY BACK.....why didn't he do the job we've been waiting for him to do already???
Is publishing the Watchtower really more important than getting mankind back on track and drying every tear??
I guess so.
Maybe this is as good as it will ever get.
Exploitation of current events is something the WTS. has been doing since its inception.
Makes for good marketing of literature doesn't it ?
Isn't it great that you're going to capitalize on two very sad incidents that could have had less casualities with more stringent earthquake building standards? Ugh, gimme a break...

Okay...the title is "Has God Left Us" and shows either earthquake or war damage...which is meant to play on people's fears that maybe God has left them.
Yet...they themselves see the earthquakes as validation that Jehovah is directing the work. He caused...or at least allowed...these earthquakes so that his prophets can deliver a timely message meant for the survivors that he actually hasn't left them...
